Q1. To kick off today’s AMA, please introduce briefly about your team and some key features of PolkaFantasy.
Alex Hui:
I am Alex, the CEO & founder of PolkaFantasy, the first-ever Japanese-themed NFT cross-chain marketplace & multiverse game in the world.
Our team is formed by members with strong blockchain, animation and game background. For instance, our strategic advisors is the ex COO of Square Enix US, the creator of the famous Final Fantasy series. And our Japan head is the former ex-CEO of SNK, the company behind The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, and Metal Slug. We are passionate about games, especially good games. With this strong formation in both blockchain, publishing & game industries, our team really look forward to bringing a new experience to NFT lovers in near future.
Our premise is simple: to build the project with best user experience. Just like what you expect from one of the countries with best hospitality in the world.
In that sense, we are building an inclusive ecosystem for people who loves NFT. We want to combine NFT marketplace and game seamlessly so that people can discover what they want, regardless whether they are digital art lovers or avid gamers.

Q2. Could you share with us some of your investment partners and what value they have brought to your game ?
Alex Hui:
We have many great well know investors to support us.
For instance, PMON investor MorningStar Venture, Axie Infinity investor SkyVision Capital, Evernew Capital (which formed Solana ecofund) etc are close backers of this project. And in fact, when you visit our site, we show only less than one-third of our investors. We hope this will give the scope of how much support we get from community. We are humble to have their support.
With their involvement, we get extensive support and connection in the industry. And we are leverage on this advantage to expand our business in a very healthy way.

Q3. What is your top goal for in this year? Can you share some of your future plans as well as your project and community development plan so that people understand and invest in your project?
Alex Hui:
2021 will be a busy year for our team. As we are building foundation to prepare for our full-fledged ecosystem in coming years.
We are happy to share that our NFT wallet is already complete. Our team is optimizing it and hopfully it will see the light very soon.
As for our marketplace, we will roll out the alpha version soon. In PolkaFantasy, we believe quality matters. Therefore we really want to take time to make it something truly enjoyable to use.
As for the NFT game, development is underway. We want to make sure everything is right because our team is pretty serious at delivering something players can enjoy. With our strong background in gaming industry, we believe it will be something so exciting to our community members! Who knows which big giant game studio we will partner with!

I like this question, because growing community is essential to lead project to success.
For PolkaFantasy, there are no barriers to taking part in this marketplace. We strive to build our reputation with good quality art and products. As you can see from our art work, everyone of them are created with our close collaboration with top Japanese artists. They all have strong background in AAA design or game studio. Our team really want to show the community we have passion in this project. Therefore we aim for the highest quality which you can see with your own eyes.

Not all NFTs that are offered in the market are valuable, so how will PolkaFantasy ensure that the NFTs that are manufactured, issued and traded on its platform are valuable and successful, and what strategies will it use to make them competitive in this fierce market?
Alex Hui:
As a member in many other blockchain communities, I always have the same question. So, thanks for asking it because I know this matters to many of you.
First of all, passion matters in project. Many times we saw projects fail to achieve good results, it’s often because people chases rabbits without understanding what drave them to start a project in the first place. Market condition, business strategy, and operation may matter, but passion and understanding of the biz matters most in many cases. To achieve this, we are working with a lot of top artists. And in coming week, we will announce a very amazing advisor on board. With his expertise, we will surely get a lot of traction and support from community and top artists!!
Besides, we are leveraging on non-crypto market where ACG community has a huge base. This put us in huge advantage to bridge between crypto and non-crypto worlds.

User experience is a very important issue in most projects. Does #PolkaFantasy focus on this? What has #PolkaFantasy done to bring the best user experience, especially to new users??
Alex Hui:
User experience is a core part in PolkaFantasy. We strive for excellent user experience because it ultimate matters to actual users.
Take our Play-to-Earn game as example, the game itself will have many features that lower the entry barrier and at the same time it will profit loyal and dedicating players.
As for our marketplace, DISCOVER & BEING DISCOVERED matter. Therefore, we will leverage on a community-centric system which enables users to evolve the whole marketplace in an unexpected way.
Cross-chain technology will also allow creators to ‘teleport’ their NFTs between different blockchains. This gives flexibility to creators and buyers without confining them to any closed ecosystem. We will integrate many blockchain, like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polkadot, Cardano, Solana, Polygon etc in future!

Currently, your game only runs on the ETH ecosystem. Do you have a plan to expand the bridge to other ecosystems (Ex: BSC,Polygon,..) ? I think this will attract more players. Because many players will be very concerned because of ETH gas fees.
Alex Hui:
We haven’t announced the blockchain the game will run on so far. But we will definitely integrate the infrastructure so that players can enjoy the game.
But I want to talk about one perspective of our game. Our team has a strong experience in game industry, In a sense, our team members have involved in Final Fantasy, King of Fighters, Dragon Quest etc. So we strive to build a game for MASS MARKET.
Being an early member in PolkaFantasy, our team can see an amazing journey with you. And our IDO is coming soon on Sep 10, so we are super excited to start the NEXT GEN Play-to-earn with our players together!!

As I know this project is relatively new. Can you tell us about the progress you have made so far? What has been the most important update of the moment and what are you currently focused on?
Alex Hui:
As mentioned above, we will release our NFT wallet and marketplace soon.
As for the NFT game, development is underway. Alpha test invitation will be sent to our NFT holders so that they can play test and play-to-earn soonest.

I think we are one of the most rare teams in blockchain industry that have so many top game persons from top game companies.
This enable us to develop GameFi and Play-to-earn from a very unique perspective. PolkaFantasy will become a game that you never seen before, and our team is quite confident it’s a Ultra Rare edition of blockchain game that you will love!

According to the project’s roadmap- what are your most important next priorities?
Alex Hui:
We will release our NFT wallet and marketplace very soon. And in Q4, we will have our game ready for community.
Our next big thing is the NFT collaboration. There you will see a lot of NFT utilities that you may never see before. And with that, we will make our game and marketplace super strong.

How the demand of your token will increase in the future? or what steps would you take to increase the demand?
Alex Hui:
Believe it or not, we will add so much utilites to our $XP tokens, and they will generate a lot of demand for the token.
Imagine $XP is an ecosystem token. You can see that all ecosystem token will go up in long run. Like many centralized exchange token.
We start at a low price at $0.05 at IDO (Sep 10) because we want more ppl to get involved.
We look up to Axie Infinity (last Nov, their token is about $0.12), and want to make huge success and rewards for our community. So, your support is important to us, and we believe we can be successful together.
