Kelvin Fong:
I’m Kelvin, CEO and the founder of The Next War. Had a great e-meeting with you all here and I’m delighted to be invited to this AMA session. I have worked in the game publisher and esports industry for over 12 years. During these 12 years, I have been involved in many masterpieces, such as Maplestory, Sudden Attack, RAN Online, and so on. These are games familiar to Southeast Asians. And I’m a hardcore gamer myself.

Q1. Could you please introduce yourself and tell the community about The Next War in detail?
Kelvin Fong:
As mentioned above, I’m a hardcore gamer myself, which my favorite genre of gaming is shooting games.
THE NEXT WAR is the world’s first GameFi combat zone, inspired by my favorite game Call of Duty. If you’re a gamer too, I’m sure you’ve heard of it. Imagine you’re wearing a modern battle suit and fighting your opponents in a battle zone in a battle royale style game mode.

Q2. What is the competitive advantage your platform has that you feel most confident about? @KlvnFong_TNW
Kelvin Fong:
First of all, our team are experts in shooting game development, we have many projects to support local and overseas game developers, you can find one of the projects completed by our team on the steam store name “Eximius”. You will be blown away by its graphics and design.
In addition to this, we have a lot of game modes and models that other GameFi projects don’t have on the market. Battle Royale is our primary game mode. A game mode that everyone is familiar with that everyone can easily enjoy. But we are not only that, TNW has many other types of game mode like deathmatch, guild battles, conquering bases…etc.
So we are very confident that our players and investors can enjoy their games and earnings.

Q3. Can you tell us more about native token? I believe you guys are quite interested.
Kelvin Fong:
TNW has a governance token (TNG) and a utility token (TNC).

This will fight inflation when playing games.
Kelvin Fong:
TNG token is used as the medium of exchange between participants on TNW in a decentralized manner. It can be utilized in the marketplace, in-game rewards, entry fee for the high-rank game mode, tournament, yield farming, and of course, exchange in the exchange platform.
TNC token is major in-game currency, it can be used in-game, exchange for the war-crate, entry fee for the low-rank game, and many more.
TNW team will make sure the balance emission between two tokens and create the greatest value to the investor, in long term.

Q4. Can you tell us about the motivation and benefits for investors to keep your token in the long run?
Kelvin Fong:
Having experienced so many projects in the market, I believe everyone should know that the value of the token is supported by the overall structure of the project. TNW has a lot of features and functions to make money for players and investors, as well as a lot of events and game modes that balance the economy as a whole.
One thing I want to emphasize is that we are not only focusing on the gaming market, we are also targeting the traditional gaming industry as well.
so, once we have more and more players, the value of your tokens will increase.
Another thing I want you to know is, what if you stake our NFTs and not just earn our tokens? What if you have the opportunity to earn tokens from another project that has proven to be very successful? I won’t tell you what token that is, follow our community and you’ll know we’ve got a 9x9 land on The Sandbox. So, based on all the values I mentioned, our token will have unlimited potential.

Q5. Is TNW game only support PC device? Many games don’t support mobiles, and that reduces the attraction of many players around the world. Will it be compatible with Android devices and also iOS ?Will it be released first in desktop version or mobile version?
Kelvin Fong:
Let’s talk a little bit about the evolution of the gaming industry. We have lived through the era of console gaming, PC single-player, online games, web games, now come to mobile. I’m sure all the members here have a cell phone, at least one, I have 3. Experience tells us that, mobile is the best entry point for gamers. But we won’t forget PC players.
TNW is built on the foundation of Unreal Engine, this allows us to build from mobile to PC. The mobile version will be available soon, and the PC version will follow. So, as you can see. With technical support, TNW will span between mobile and PC.

I’m sure most of you know that “The Lord Of The Rings” and “Final Fantasy” have involved 3D animation and game development support in Southeast Asia. As my team is one of the strongest shooting game developers in Southeast Asia. We had supported a lot of projects; you can find one of these games on Steam named “Eximius”. My entire team has been in the gaming industry for over 14 years, and I myself am a die-hard gamer, TNW was inspired by one of my favorite games, Call of Duty. It’s all about communication, cooperation, and that’s what makes up the content.

Absolutely! The buyback and burn mechanism is very important for all GameFi projects because GameFi is not only about games, but also about finances.
The TNW team has developed a complete buyback and burn mechanism to adjust the availability and value of the TNW governance token TNG. The main sources of burnt tokens come from marketplaces, battle passes, and game entry fees.
TNW team will do our best to safeguard the interests and rights of investors, investors will always come first.

Yes, I agree with you. But this isn’t just happening in the blockchain market. The traditional gaming market has faced the same issue before. When MMORPGs hit the market, you’ve got thousands of games developers doing the same thing. But only the best one stays to the last.
Now is a transition period for the entire GameFi market. I believe that only good quality games will bring more viewers and players. So, what we can do is, develop games with our solid team, solid spirit, & solid tools.
Example using Unreal Engine, a real-time 3D creation tool for a photoreal visual and immersive experience. TNW only brings the best to the market.
So, do I encourage developers to provide better games? My gamer spirit tells me to say YES!
Well, I believe everyone here knows the crypto market is huge and GameFi is at the speed of light. But have any of you seen any True E-sport standard games on the GameFI market yet? That’s the role that The Next War wanna fit in.

TNW is backed by an experienced strong game development team and we have extensive connections with several E-sport communities. which is able to support the development content and future event as well. and what I can be telling one more secrete to you, we even own a land in sand box that to show you how confident we are and the project is.

from the experience of game publishing industry, we know that Free to play will always come to the option, and so far some of the big titles in traditional gaming and gamefi market is following the trend also. so Yes!! TNW is designed for free to play, which mean players who can’t afford the NFT are still able to enjoy the game. but for those NFT investors, you will be able to earn what you get in the very beginning. on top of that, we still have a lot of others earning methods such as play to earn, shoot to earn, stack to earn and even watch to earn. we make sure all our supporter will enjoy on their investment and gamers will enjoy the gameplay

Nearly 80% of investors only focus on short-term token price instead of understanding the real value of the project. Can you tell us the motivations and benefits for investors to hold your tokens in the long term?

we had several promising investors are backing us up at the moment, and also have a very solid structure which is enough to show all of our investors about the potential and confidence of our token. beside of that, We are taking the experience of the traditional games system and combining it with the current gamefi economic mechanism. Which mean TNW had a lot of other elements to support the whole token economic and make sure the token price can be increased positively. so, what do you think inversor will do if the token in their hand is having an ultimate value?
